After the roaring success of our first ‘Why instruct a pensions expert’ video, I’m happy to present the next entry in the series! (I am doing better than Gandhi – he only made one film, albeit a blockbuster – credit to Trigger from Only Fools and Horses for that one).

After the roaring success of our first ‘Why instruct a pensions expert’ video, I’m happy to present the next entry in the series! (I am doing better than Gandhi – he only made one film, albeit a blockbuster – credit to Trigger from Only Fools and Horses for that one).
In the last video I established the problem with CEVs, and why they’re so misleading in determining the value of a pension—but it’s not all doom and gloom, I have solutions too! (I was always taught, don’t bring me problems, bring me solutions. I was also taught that there is no such thing as problems, only opportunities – it’s just that some opportunities are insoluble!)
The next video in the series is titled, What is the value of my spouse’s pension? In this video (and aided with a bit of graphical wizardry – obviously not mine), I detail a few different ways in which a couple might share their pension, and how the value of both sides’ pensions can be determined. I then talk about a recent case in which the solicitors’ client’s pension valuation was completely flipped on its head, thanks to our expert advice.
Enjoy the video and stay tuned for the next one!
